Our Programming
Our dynamic and interpretive programming seeks to make history relevant to the present, facilitate access to ongoing exhibitions, and serve as a platform for civic and community engagement. Our events primarily highlight our extensive archival collections and our ongoing exhibitions, including all those held at the GLBT Historical Society Museum.
The GLBT Historical Society is committed to preserving and sharing LGBTQ histories, cultures, and arts in all their diversity. We value a free exchange of ideas, and make our platforms available to speakers and project participants with a wide array of perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences. Views and opinions expressed by our guests, speakers, and affiliated projects do not necessarily reflect the views and positions of the GLBT Historical Society.
Proposing A Program
We welcome program proposals from the public to supplement our internally-curated calendar of events. If you are interested in proposing a program with us, please review our Program Proposal Guidelines and submit a request through the form linked on that page.
If you are putting on an event and are interested in cross-promotion opportunities, please click here to go to our cross-promotion request form.
